These mushrooms have nothing to do with grain elevators but are fine examples of the art Jim Stockwell creates from wood. Jim is the husband of Patti and the owner of Skunk Hollow Bowls, Sechelt, BC, Canada.

A native born Albertan who took his art training at the Alberta College of Art. Well known in his earlier years for his butter sculptures, cartoons, and paintings. During his Navy career he created the comic strip "Salty" and many cartoons for the Naval newspaper Gangway, Dick now retired creates original ceramics at his "Prairie Studio" and other art forms during his winters in Mexico and Arizona. Many of his South West Indian creations are in Private Collections around North America. Showing of his latest works was at his studio in Cornich.
